How can I get a grant to start a business?
If you’re planning to start a small business, you may be eligible for the Business Basics Grants Program. You may receive a single up-front fixed grant payment of $5,000 (excluding GST). Applications open on 31 May 2021 and close on 30 June 2021. Eligible activities are training and coaching, website build or upgrades, professional business advice including business plans, and business continuity and succession.

How can I get free grants for my small business to grow?
If you have a high-growth small or medium-sized business that can drive Queensland’s economy and employ more Queenslanders, the Business Growth Fund (BGF) is for you—a single up-front payment of up to $50,000 (excluding GST). Eligible activities are training and coaching, website build or upgrades, professional business advice, strategic marketing services, and business continuity and succession. The application process has three stages, namely, mentoring session, application, and pitch.
